Parallel optical links

paroli parallel optical links are suitable for large-scale board-to-board or rack-to-rack applications. Twelve independent serial data channels are bundled into one transmitter-receiver link. Each transmitter-receiver module is connected by a 12-channel fiber-optic cable using the company`s mt connectors. The transmission data rate ranges from 250 Mbits/sec to 1.25 Gbits/sec. These links are designed for telecommunications and data-communications applications and will interface with sci and hippi-6400 standards. According to the manufacturer, the link combines aggregate data-transfer rates of up to 15 Gbits/sec with high package density. A 3.3V power supply is included.
