Cantv (Caracas, Venezuela) completed the first two rings of its fiber-optic network, adding Puerto Cabello into the network designed to integrate telecommunications in Venezuela?s major cities. The company also completed its coastal submarine cable, at a cost of $80 million, connecting 13 cities from Maracaibo to Carupano. The project will incorporate sdh technology in future expansions.
