Inline polarizer

The Pol-002 inline polarizer is of all-fiber construction and can be combined with a polarization controller to function as an ase noise cutter or a variable attenuator. Both the input and output fiber are polarization maintaining. Insertion loss is 0.2 dB typical, 1.5 dB maximum with no connectors, and 0.7 dB typical with connectors. Return loss without connectors is >70 dB, and with connectors is >65 dB for apc, >45 dB for PC. The polarizer operates at 820-, 1310-, or 1550-nm wavelengths, at bandwidth of 50 nm.
