atm switch

The CrossFire atm switch uses explicit- rate traffic control for available bit rate (abr) flow control, a mechanism that continuously monitors output link overload and computes explicit rates for abr connections to provide guaranteed bandwidth. Its scalable, modular design accommodates future lan growth. Enabling the creation of lane and classical IP networks, this atm Forum-compliant switch allows multiple technologies to be integrated into 155-Mbit/sec to 622-Mbit/sec local-area and wide-area networks.
