The 10-Mbit fiber-optic Ethernet pci network interface card, which is an addition to the EZlink 4217 NIC series, is designed for organizations using fiber-optic cabling in desktop environments. They feature on-board intelligence and provide connectivity to SC and ST fiber interfaces, as well as to copper--RJ-45-type and bnc. The cards are auto-configurable and interoperable with major operating systems, including Windows 95 and Windows NT. The list price for the SC and ST connector version is $219, and $59 for the bnc and RJ-45-type versions.
