PMD test set

The PMD440 polarization-mode dispersion test set is based on interferometric measurement techniques and is designed for field use. It can measure fiber runs of up to 140 km and features a single-button test approach. The set consists of a receiver, a PC laptop controller with a Windows 95 operating system, and a polarized LED light source operating at 1550 or 1300 nm.
