FaciliCom International (Washington, DC) forged an agreement with Hermes Europe Railtel (Brussels) to connect FCI`s facilities in Europe with fiber-optic transport services. Under terms of the $21 million agreement, FaciliCom will obtain a VC-4 (140-Mbit/sec) ring connecting the company`s switching facilities in London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Zurich, and Paris, and point-to-point connectivity with sites in Brussels and Milan.
