The San Diego, CA-based telephone company Presto plans to invest $150 million in the construction of a fiber-optic network in southeast Mexico for long-distance service competition with other transnational long-distance operators in Mexico. According to the company`s president, Presto plans to move into Central America once operations are under way in Mexico.
