Frontier Corp. (Rochester, NY) activated a 900-mi segment of its fiber-optic network from Kansas City, MO, through Illinois and Indiana, to Cleveland, OH. Altogether, Frontier has approximately 4500 route-mi, or 34%, of its planned network in service. Once completed later this year, the Frontier network will cover 13,000 route-mi and connect nearly 100 cities across the United States.
