Resin for cable jacketing

The Kynar Flex 2950-05 resin for fiber-optic cable jacketing meets the UL 910 Steiner Tunnel Test requirements for cables with up to 144 discrete fibers without using a barrier tape. This polyvinylidene fluoride resin is readily melt-processable at relatively low temperatures. The resin resists highly concatenated solvents, acids, bases, and other corrosive fluids, as well as heat, flame, and smoke.
