Safe fiber-optic cable

The ld-80ti cables are designed for high-power-beam delivery. Incorporating a linear thermal sensor, they can safely be integrated with lasers and laser systems to detect heat from power loss and fiber breakage. The fiber/sensor cable can be easily interfaced with lasers or systems, and fitted to systems already in operation by using a UL-listed sensor-switch relay. Graded- or step-index fiber in core sizes ranging from 50 microns to 2 mm is available to suit various applications. Fiber and sensor are housed in a protective jacket that resists crushing, tensile loads, chemicals, and other hazards encountered in industrial and manufacturing environments.
