The Fiberoptic Link Around the Globe (flag) cable network will touch down in Saudi Arabia, thanks to an agreement between flag Ltd. (Hamilton, Bermuda) and the Ministry of Post, Telephone and Telegraph of Saudi Arabia. flag will now land in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, via a 145-km branching unit. Saudi Arabia becomes the twelfth country to be connected by the flag network.
