Fiber color coating

The ColorLock process integrates color into fiber coating by adding color components to the secondary layer of the acrylate coating during the fiber manufacturing process. According to the manufacturer, the process exceeds the industry specification of 250 䔳 microns. The fiber is 100% tensile tested at 1% strain (more than 100 kpsi) and is compatible with all major fusion splicing equipment, including those using light injection detection alignment systems.
