Two-piece ST-style connector

The ST-style connector consists of the connector body and boot. A "hazardous- path" configuration enables gripping of the cable-strength member between the stem and boot, eliminating the use of a crimp ring or epoxy. The ferrule is insert-molded into a polymer stem to reduce weight and cost. The device is available for both multimode and singlemode applications.
