Pre-polished fiber-optic connectors

LightCrimp Plus connectors are factory-polished, so installers only need to cleave the fiber and crimp on the connector. According to the manufacturer, termination times are under one minute. The connectors may be used for premises applications such as wiring closets, wall outlets, and drop cables that bring fiber to the desktop. They are epoxyless connectors, with no adhesive to cure. Because only enough cable to crimp the connection is required, extra cable loops for termination or cable polishing are not needed, and connectors can be terminated on shorter lengths of cable. The connectors meet tia/eia-568a, iso-11801, and EN 50173 design specifications and operate in temperatures ranging from -10 to +60 C.
