Polarization-dependent loss coupler

Available in 1 ¥ 2 or 2 ¥ 2 configurations, the Single Mode Ultra-Low pdl Fiber Coupler (smuc) is a narrowband splitter with a polarization-dependent loss of 0.03 dB maximum. The smuc is available in various coupling ratios from 1% to 50% and is offered in 1550-, 1480-, or 1310-nm wavelengths. This device measures 3.0 ¥ 54 mm and suits applications such as telecommunications, monitoring systems, optical networks, fiber-to-the-home networks, and cable TV.
