CoManage, a supplier of Customer-Aware Service Management systems for network service providers, announced that AT&T Broadband Network Solutions, Eastern Division, has selected CoManage's Integrated Service Manager to enhance its solutions across broadband optical networks.

The Integrated Service Manager (ISM) was successfully installed by AT&T Broadband Network Solutions in November 2000, and is now being used to manage existing and new services. It gives the company a correlated view of network activity and the customers affected. AT&T Broadband Network Solutions has deployed solutions including ATM and Gigabit Ethernet through high performance Broadband Optical Networks to organizations throughout the country.

CoManage's Integrated Service Manager combines four key network management functionsdiscovery, provisioning, fault management and performance monitoringinto a single application. ISM enables service providers to see how network operation affects the connections and services of a particular customer, offer customized SLAs, and automatically monitor performance for specific agreements without special hardware. By delivering Customer-Aware Service Management with ISM, service providers can increase customer satisfaction.
