TXU Communications recently opened two new points of presence (POPs) in Waco and Killeen, Texas. The addition of these POPs to the company's fiber optic network provides additional capacity and increases ease of accessibility for the company's network customers.

The new Waco POP connects the network to Southwestern Bell Telephone Company's Central Office, while the new Killeen POP provides connection to Sprint Local Telephone Company's Central Office.
