WJ Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq:WJCI) announced it has received three orders from two different customers for new OC-192 products introduced by the Company in the last three months. The orders are valued at over $5 million and are expected to be delivered beginning in the Company's second quarter.

The new products that have been ordered are WJ Communications' modulator driver and clock amplifier. Both products incorporate WJ's Hybrid/MIC design, integration and manufacturing technology, applying it to high data rate fiber systems. WJ provides many of the key RF components that are used in the complex circuitry of fiber optics transceivers and transverters. In the past 18 months, WJ has delivered over 120,000 OC-192 integrated RF products while maintaining the highest levels of quality and customer satisfaction.

WJC entered the OC-192 market with highly stable, low phase noise system clock assemblies used for critical system timing applications. The expanded product line leverages WJ's experience in precision ultra-broadband RF circuitry, which is a critical element enabling high speed data and voice systems.
