The VDE/200 video-display system extends to 3000 feet the distance between workstations and user monitors--the distance would otherwise be 75 feet. The system transports 1600x1200 pixel, keyboard and mouse signals through multimode fiber-optic cable. The video-display system requires a transmitter and receiver, each of which weighs 10 pounds and measures 1.75䂄䂄 inches. The pair costs $3965.
