Fiber-optic multiplexer

Adder 882 fiber-optic audio and data multiplexer is a bidirectional system that simultaneously transmits eight audio channels and eight high-speed RS-422 data/control channels over one optical fiber. Markets include TV and radio broadcasting, cable-TV production and telecommunications. The multiplexer comprises a pair of 2 RU 19-inch rack-mounted enclosures fitted with 16 three-pin XLR audio connectors and eight duplex DB-9 data connectors.
