Fiber-optic modem

Model 2200 variable-rate fiber-optic modem automatically locks to any incoming data rate within its range. The modem chassis houses 12 independent full-duplex modem channels with RS-422 or RS-485 electrical interfaces. The device is data-pattern insensitive and accepts and delivers all data patterns, including nonrandom bursty data signals. Standard optical-link loss budget is 23 dB.
