Ethernet card

The Osiris Sonet/Ethernet card integrates Ethernet support in an OC-3 fiber-optic multiplexer. This card lets end users employ Sonet technology to provide distributed Ethernet LAN services for campus and metropolitan area networks. It can be connected to Ethernet switches for high-speed, low-latency transport while allowing switching capabilities to be concentrated at a central site. The card is priced at $2000 and plugs into any Osiris multiplexer.
