Multimode connector adhesives

Adhesives for multimode connectors will prevent fiber cracking or pistoning during cure or thermal cycling, according to company claims. Room temperature cure systems, such as Tra-bond F112, F113SC and F118 are colored blue and can be used overnight at ambient temperature. Tra-bond F253, F1-2-3 and F1-2-3 HV use a three-stage color change to ensure proper mix. A variety of specialty packages are available.
