    Telewest, one of the largest cable operators in the United Kingdom, is testing delivery of integrated telecommunications and cable-TV services to residential customers using the Cablespan system of Lisle, IL-based Tellabs Operations Inc. This trial is checking the viability and customer acceptance of integrated entertainment and telephony services delivered over a single hybrid fiber/coaxial-cable network.
