Fusion splicer

The Spliceman fusion splicer, with an improved viewing system, reduces operator eye fatigue. Using a high-intensity red light-emitting diode, the splicer is compatible with singlemode and multimode fibers with a 125-micron outer diameter and achieves an average splice loss of 0.045 dB. Its miniature size enables operation in restricted areas.
