Telecommunications link

MRC Telecommunications Inc., Brookfield, WI, and Minnesota Equal Access Network Services Inc. have installed an advanced fiber-optic transmission system that links their telecommunications networks. Using synchronous optical network equipment capable of broadband and narrowband transmission, the interconnection extends the system beyond the metropolitan areas currently served by the major carriers to the less populated cities within each company`s service area.
