The Telecommunications Division of Alcoa Fujikura Ltd., Brentwood, TN, is planning to increase fiber-optic aerial cable capacity by 40%. This increase will be achieved through the installation of new manufacturing equipment, as well as process improvements. The product lines that will be affected are the optical ground wire, fiber-optic aerial dielectric self-supporting cable and data communications cables.
