BandCon has purchased seven 10-Gbit/sec wavelengths and colocation services in Los Angeles, Houston, and San Francisco. BandCon has been expanding its network to deliver more capacity to its customers, most of which are Web 2.0-based enterprises such as social networking sites and VoIP providers that run bandwidth-intensive applications and services including online video streaming, rich multi-media content, wireless data, HD video, and higher-speed broadband offerings.

"BandCon selected XO based on the fact that our customers have ever-expanding content and constantly need additional capacity in a timely manner," said Ari Benowitz, CEO of BandCon. "XO has an extensive network, their sales team is a pleasure to work with, and they can consistently provision the capacity we need to meet our customers' demands."
