Updated fiber-optic tool kits contain a continuity tester or flashlight, fusion splice sleeves, cable markers, shrink tubing, cable ties, tape measure and a micro torch, in addition to tools and supplies offered in previous models. Prices start at $325 for the tool kits, among which are those for splicing and connectorization. A basic tool kit is also available.
