Reinforcements

Advantex reinforcements with Softstrand technology offer abrasion resistance and protection for optical fibers in telecommunications cable applications. This technology is used in cable applications that require a helical overwrap. The impregnant allows the reinforcements to carry 50% less coating than standard reinforcements. Coatings resist chemicals, sunlight/aging and mildew.
