VSC8112 Sonet/SDH-compatible 4-bit multiplexer/demultiplexer supports telecommunications and ATM applications at OC-12 rates. An integrated phase- locked loop provides a monolithic clock-multiplier unit, eliminating the need for external components for 622-MH¥clock generation. The unit meets Sonet jitter- generation requirements and has a typical power dissipation of 1.1W.
