Physical-layer tester

HP E6334A integrates T1 physical-layer testing capability with a fully functional PC in a ruggedized, portable housing. This dual-port T1 tester simultaneously controls full-duplex drop-and-insert transmitters and receivers. It also supports extensive SLC96 test capabilities, including TR-TSY-000008 SLC modes, such as alarm transmission and detection; simultaneous monitoring of office and remote terminals; graphical control of protect line and shelf loopback; modes 1, 2 and series 5 feature package B support; time-slot assignment mapping of off-hook channels to channel unit; and trapping, display, and analysis of derived data-link events. Undercradles and software for additional test capabilities can be added. Full drop-and-insert voice frequency testing with dual-tone multifrequency and multifrequency dialing is optional.
