Continental Cablevision in Elmhurst, IL, has selected Rolling Meadows, IL-based antec to supply laser transmitters and fiber-optic cable for use in its 5000-mile rebuild of several networks in the Chicago area. The rebuild will pass 650,000 homes and is expected to be finished in 1999.
