Fiber-optic cable assemblies

Angle-polished and super-ultrapolished fiber-optic cable assemblies offer the lowest reflectance performance available. Angle polished finishes typically offer a return loss of less than 72 dB, while the super-ultrapolished finishes achieve 55 to 60 dB. SC and FC singlemode assemblies are available with angle-polished finish. The super-ultrapolished finish is available on SC, FC and ST singlemode assemblies.
