T-berd 307 communications analyzer tests DS-3 and new technologies that DS-3 supports, including wireless communications, videoconferencing, distributed data processing and workstation-based graphics. The battery-powered instrument weighs less than 5 lbs and comes in a case designed for field use. The device can identify timing problems, troubleshoot DS-3 and DS-1 channels or test from a variety of access points. With DS-3 capabilities, the analyzer costs $4995; the DS-1 option costs $1995.
