is planning to build a fiber-to-the-curb network during 1997 to serve customers in New York and Boston. Next Level Communications, a subsidiary of General Instrument Corp., plans to supply one million lines of transport electronics to be used for these networks in metropolitan Boston and New York, and parts of Long Island and Westchester County, NY.
