Sonet solution for local loop
SonetFOX is an OC-3 add/drop multiplexer solution for dropping a small number of DS-1, DS-3 and Ethernet loops with Sonet protection. This fiber-optic extension product delivers transparent LAN service with a full range of integrated voice and data services on a single local-loop platform. The device can be wall- or rack-mounted and requires only one site technician. Price ranges from $10,000 to $15,000, depending on configuration. Sonetfox-nms graphical user interface lets users install, provision, test and maintain the system.
