Fiber-optic connectors

SC, FC and ST singlemode and multimode connectors feature improved return-loss (backreflection) specifications on PC singlemode mated connectors. Connector backreflection is critical to peak system performance in Sonet-based systems and high-bandwidth video applications. Typical backreflection yields for these connectors are less than -55 dB for PC, less than -60 dB for Super PC and -70 dB for angle-polished connectors.
