Netherlands network

EnerTel, a consortium of energy and cable companies based in The Netherlands, and Lucent Technologies in Murray Hill, NJ, have agreed to develop and install a nationwide $3.1 million Synchronous Digital Hierarchy voice and data transmission network in The Netherlands. EnerTel plans to use the new network to link its energy and cable companies` networks. Installation is scheduled for completion by the end of this year. Lucent produces and develops most of the equipment supplied under this contract in its plant in Huizen, The Netherlands.
