Fiber-optic cable with a 2-mm diameter provides high-density connectivity in network communications, computer applications, cable-TV and central offices. Available in singlemode- or multimode-fiber versions, the Kevlar-coated cable reduces the volume of external cable routing between bays and panels by 30%, compared to 3-mm diameter cable.
