Interferometer

The Accis NC-3000 automated noncontact interferometer incorporates a 10X Mireau objective on an inverted microscope with built-in camera, a Pentium computer and a Windows interface. The unit performs three-dimensional measurements on fiber-optic surfaces such as connector assemblies, ferrules and optical fibers. It measures planar or spherical fiber height to an accuracy of ۪.004 microns, and radius of curvature and offset of polish accuracies of ۪.50 mm and ۮ.0 microns, respectively.
