South African accord

Telkom South Africa Ltd. has signed a multimillion contract with Bell Communications Research. Bellcore International, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bellcore, will provide Telkom with intelligent network consulting services during 1996. Intelligent networks are expected to provide corporations with personalized telecommunications solutions such as virtual private networks, advanced toll-free calling services and televoting.
