MAY 19, 2009 -- US Conec Ltd. (search Lightwave for US Conec) has released its IBC Brand Cleaner MPX for cleaning LIGHTRAY MPX connectors. The IBC Brand Cleaner MPX is said to be the first all dry cleaning product capable of cleaning LIGHTRAY MPX connectors through an adapter or on a cable assembly.

The tool's woven micro fibers have absorption properties for removing liquid contaminates and a custom weave pattern that traps dry particulates. The IBC Brand Cleaner is designed to gently sweep away the harmful contamination on the fiber array without scratching the ferrule's surface. The IBC Brand Cleaner MPX is keyed for aligning the cleaning fabric with the ferrule end face and provides 600 engagements.
