June 1, 2000

The Quantum QX fiberoptic backplane connectivity system of connectors and cables has a typical insertion loss of 0.40 dB per mated pair. The system uses a SC-style push-pull engagement mechanism. A multifiber array holds from 1 to 12 fibers in a single thermo-polymer ferrule.
