The Daytona laser is a 4-mW average power, 1310-nm DFB laser designed for Metro SONET/SDH and dropside DWDM applications up to 50 km. This 10-Gbit/s directly modulated laser can operate over an extended case temperature range of -40°C to +80°C and is aimed at cost-sensitive installations.
