HIGH-INTENSITY OPTICAL POWER METERS

June 1, 2000

The 771RH (single channel), 772RH (dual channel) and 773RH (triple channel) optical power meters are designed for testing DWDM transmission systems, CATV systems, and high-power output devices such as EDFA amplifiers and pump lasers. Based on a 2-mm InGaAs photodetector, the power meters offer a measurement range from +27 to -60 dBm. The power meters provide measurement speed and resolution of 0.001 for logarithmic dB and linear (W) units. All of the units can be installed in a standard 19-in. rack with a 700R controller module. GPIB interface is a standard feature. A comprehensive application software package is optional. The 771RH, 772RH, and 773RH are available at $2050, $3075, and $3795, respectively.
