The MTX510EW is a high-speed electro-absorption modulated DFB laser (EML) for 1.55-µm DWDM applications up to 12.5 Gbit/s. It consists of an integrated multiquantum-well DFB laser and electro-absorption modulator in a 7-pin butterfly package with a high-speed GPO RF connector. The package is laser-welded, hermetic, and epoxy-free, with temperature stability for operation up to 75°C.
