FIBEROPTIC MONITORING SYSTEM

The FiberSafe100 security system monitors fiberoptic cables in communication links by transmitting a laser beam with collimated light through a multimode fiberoptic cable and generating a speckle pattern at the receiving end. When even small vibrations disturb the cable, a sensor detects a change in the pattern and triggers an alarm.
