MODULATOR/ATTENUATOR

Jan. 1, 2001

The 9189 Series integrated modulator/ attenuator is a fiber-coupled module for transmission networks operating at 10 Gbit/s. It can be used at any wavelength in the L or C bands and has continuously tunable attenuation for variable network configurations. A single lithium niobate chip has two separately addressable waveguide sections in a hermetic module with fiber input and output.
